Football legend Joe Kadenge will be buried today. The funeral ceremony is to be conducted at Gisambai Primary School followed by the burial at his home in Soliani, Vihiga.
It is expected Deputy President William Ruto to represent H.E Uhuru Kenyatta others to be present include ODM leader Raila Odinga, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, COTU SG Francis Atwoli, and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula.
"Deputy President William Ruto will lead the government in the burial with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi also expected to attend, ” Chris Kadenge, the deceased’s nephew said.
"Central Organization Trade Union (Cotu) Secretary-General Francis Atwoli, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko Mbuvi, Mvita mp Abdulswamad Nassir and other governors, MPs and Women representatives who will be hosted by governor Wilbur Otichillo are also going to be present,” he added.
Presenters at the burial ceremony will include former KBC presenters led by the MC of the Event. Veteran sports journalist and broadcaster Jack Oyoo Silvester will be the MC at the event.
