Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i blamed for 50 billion treasury lose 2019. The government collected from the betting companies 50 billion the year 2018.
KRA has cleared 10 betting companies whose licenses had failed to be renewed by the government over tax compliance.
They are Betway, OdiBets, Mozzartbet, Ken Bookmakers, Lucky 2u, Eazi Bet, Kick off, Eastleighbet, Palms Bet and Bet boss.
Other betting companies are still in the dark. The government now explain what the conditions are and any company fulfilled the conditions, its license will be renewed.
