Residents of Kitui near Masinga or the Seven folks, Kibwezi, Magarini, Malindi, Tana Delta, and Gamba are advised to move to a safe place.
The Most affected villages along the River Athi-Galana-Sabaki include; Dwa(Kibwezi), Chakama(Magarini), Madunguni(Malindi), Gamba(Tana River) and Tana Delta.
The Meteorological department has urged county governments to provide support to the affected families.
For all farmers here with portions along the two rivers like in Madunguni, Kakoneni, Langobaya, Tana Delta and Chakama are advised not to step into their portions and wait until the flood settles.
This comes just 3 days after the County governments of Kilifi, Tana River, and Makueni warned of the same. Madunguni, Kalulini, and Dwa Secondary schools are now impassable by vehicles.
