Police attempted to forcefully eject Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria out of the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) meeting in Kitui on Saturday. Other Tangatanga allies also met a similar treatment.
Kuria's dramatic entry at Kitui Stadium also saw him sitting on the bare ground after Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu objected to his reception at the main dais.
Kitui Governor seconded and told the security team to evict him. Only the people from Kitui chanted against the will of the governor.
Kenyans are serious about the BBI, Politicians are letting them down. Asante wanainchi #BBIInKitui#BBIFraud#BBINonsensepic.twitter.com/tL9TacrQJQ— Kinuthia Wa Ndung'u Rkn🇰🇪 (@Ronn_Kinuthia) February 1, 2020
Give them chairs! Give them chairs! People started chanting until Hon. Kuria was given a seat.

" What type of bridges are they building if they cannot afford to bring everyone together? " Some participants started a background conversation.
Raila Odinga had to intervene to calm the situation.
