The late Kahawa Wendani MCA Cyrus Omondi alias Gearbox requiem mass is scheduled to take place on Wednesday.
The body was taken to St Joseph Catholic Church at around 10:30 am under police escort and Boda Boda operators who honked their horns in honour of the deceased. Members of the public were allocated one hour to view the body.
Omondi, who was elected on a Jubilee party ticket in Kiambu County in 2017, died while on an official trip in India where he was found dead in a hotel in Delhi.
