Step by step: How to Transfer Safaricom's Bonga Points to put food on a family’s table. For example, if you want to support your neighbour or dobi or your house-help with some extra supplies and you want to send 1000 points:
• Dial *126# on your phone and choose transfer Bonga points
• Enter the phone number you are sending the points to
• Type the number of points you want to send
• Enter your Bonga PIN and hit send
When he or she has received the cash, ask them to dial *126#, choose Lipa na Bonga and enter the till number and amount they would like to pay.
If you sent 1000 points, for example, the receiver will be able to redeem it for KSh 300, which can get them a packet of flour or some tea leaves for refreshment at Tuskys, ShopRite or Naivas among other supermarkets.
