Mombasa COVID-19 infected herbalist infects 3 more people in Mombasa. Now makes infection in Mombasa shot to 7 with 24 hours. The Majority of cases in Mombasa are in Nyali Constituency and Mvita.

According to the Health CS Mutahi Kagwe, 11 more persons have tested for coronavirus bringing the total to 281 in the country. Of the confirmed cases; 7 are Kenyans from Mombasa, 4 from Nairobi, the Ruaka area. 5 are female while 6 are male. 2 patients have recovered and been discharged.


" We are today launching a special isolated treatment facility for healthcare workers. This facility will offer both critical and basic care services for the workers. All costs incurred during treatment will be catered by the government, " he said.


" Our success in treatment is highly dependent on our ability to protect our frontline workers in this fight. We have distributed 4,759 PPE’s and  237 assorted components. We have trained over 30,000 health workers and the training is still ongoing, " he added.
