Kenya Bureau of Standards (Kebs) boss Mr Bernard Njiraini, has been arrested over graft claims.
Mr Njiraini was arrested on Thursday morning by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) officers in his office.
The officers took him to write a statement at their Integrity Centre headquarters over alleged failure to comply with EACC requests giving information in an ongoing corruption investigation.
EACC officers said that they will charge with the penal offence of failing to provide documents requested to aid in the investigation of bribery allegations at Kebs procurement department.
