Peter Ekai, 30, man is currently undergoing treatment at the Kabarnet Referral Hospital in Baringo County following a failed suicide attempt.
On Monday he surprised many locals who were watching a football game when he suddenly jumped 30 meters down from the Kabarnet stadium.
The man lost two teeth and suffered severe bleeding from wounds in the head and legs, and rushed to the hospital.
Speaking from his hospital bed after the incident, Mr Ekai said his life had taken an unforeseen twist and that he is presently facing a lot of challenges that he feels he cannot withstand hence the decision to end his life.
He is, however, recuperating well at the facility.
