Former Meru governor Peter Munya involved in a gun drama in one of the Nairobi famous clubs. The former chairman of Council of Governors was involved in shooting after some of his colleagues said his name was not among the Cabinet secretaries and other officials named by the president Uhuru Kenyatta last week.




The former Governor got angry and he started shooting in the air. This comes after he withdrew the court case challenging Governor Kiraitu Murungi over the August polls.



Peter Munya withdrew the court case filed against Kiraitu Murungi hoping that the President will give him a cabinet secretary position or any other post in the government.




His friends started it as a joke but ended with gunfire. The lounge was closed immediately and they were told to give a statement at Pangani police station over the last night incidence.
