Kenya's President, William Ruto, calls out the Ford Foundation, an American private charitable entity, for "funding anarchy and violence in Kenya" following deadly youth-led protests in the country.
“What benefit do you get from financing anarchy and violence in Kenya? Explain to us what you seek to gain by destabilising Kenya's democracy.
"We're going to call them out. If they are not interested in advancing democracy in Kenya, if they are willing to sponsor violence, or if they are willing to sponsor anarchy, they should either change their behaviour or leave.

Kenya's President William Ruto leans towards forming a “unified government” after conducting “extensive consultations across different sectors and political formations” to bring stability to the country following recent deadly protests.
Ruto stated that he envisions a "lean, inexpensive, effective, and efficient government" to help him accelerate and expedite the necessary, "urgent and irreversible" implementation of radical programs to deal with the burden of debt, raise domestic resources, expand job opportunities, eliminate wastage and unnecessary duplication of a multiplicity of government agencies, and slay the dragon of corruption.
