Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, the suspect in Kware's murder, testified in court that the police violated and tortured him in order to force him to confess.
He claimed that he has never been responsible for another person's death and is completely blameless!
Khalusha, suspected of the heinous deaths of at least 42 women, has made allegations of coercion, sparking heated disputes about the integrity of the investigation and the treatment of suspects within the legal system.
Defence lawyer John Maina Ndegwa claims that severe forms of torture forced his client to testify about crimes he vehemently denies.
Ndegwa asked for Khalusha to receive immediate medical attention during his appearance before the Makadara Law Courts, highlighting the urgent need for attention due to allegations of mistreatment during his detention.
The statement that he made was, "My client is in critical need of immediate medical attention."
The defence lawyer denied the idea that Khalusha could be responsible for such heinous murders, describing his admission as "laughable" and "alien" to the nature of his client.
During his emotional argument, Ndegwa created a grim picture of Khalusha's plight. He asserted that Khalusha endured "horrendous inhuman mistreatment" during his custody, thereby raising serious concerns about the procedures employed during the interrogation process.
