2024/2025 EPL season, list of transferred players for Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Man United and Man City 

 


With the English Premier League 2024-2025 season commencing on August 16, 2024, major clubs have made roster changes to acclimatise their players ahead of another challenging season.


The championship side also saw the promotion of three clubs: Ipswich, Leicester City, and Southampton. They made a significant number of top signings this window, and they anticipate making more in the January transfer window.


Anfield had minimal activity, with only two big players, Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara, released. They also loaned out the other three backup players.


Manchester United had the most activity, with over 12 players released or transferred. Raphael Varane, Alvaro Fernandez (Benfica), Anthony Martial, Donny van de Beek (Girona), Mason Greenwood (Marseille), and Omari Forson (AC Monza), among other players, were on the transfer market from Old Trafford.


Manchester United only bought two players, Joshua Zirkzee (Bologna) and Leny Yoro (Lille), as major players to be featured in the first eleven. 


Sergio Gomez left Manchester City for Real Sociedad, Liam Delap left for Ipswich Town, and Savinho joined from Troyes.


For Chelsea, there was an abundance of documentation. Thiago Silva was released, and he returned to his country. Armando Broja was recalled from Fulham on loan, and Tosin Adarabioyo was transferred to Fulham. Charlie Webster has left for Burton Albion. Doncaster Rovers have taken Teddy Sharman-Lowe on loan.


Jamie Cumming transfers out to Oxford United, Hakim Ziyech transfers out to Galatasaray, and Ian Maatsen transfers out to Aston Villa. Omari Kellyman transfers in from Aston Villa; Omari Hutchinson transfers out to Ipswich Town; Marc Guiu transfers in from Barcelona; Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall transfers in from Leicester; Chinonso Chibueze transfers out to Stoke; Michael Golding transfers out to Leicester; and Renato Veiga transfers in from Basel.

 


Finally, Arsenal made transfers this season, releasing many players to the market. Mohamed Elneny, Cedric Soares, Arthur Okonkwo, and Mauro Bandeira James Lannin-Sweet, Omari Benjamin, Luis Brown, Catalin Cirjan, Noah Cooper, Henry Davies, Olivia Ejeheri, Herbert Graczyk, James Hillson, Henry Jeffcott, Tyrone John-Jules, Alex Kirk, Kamarni Ryan, and Kido Taylor-Hart were all released. 

 


Others Lucas Nygaard transferred in from FC Nordsjaelland; David Raya moved in from Brentford; Sambi Lokonga was loaned out to Sevilla; Nuno Tavares was loaned out to Lazio; and Jack Henry-Francis was loaned out to Sligo Rovers.
